武汉合美术馆，预计于2013年竣工开放。地处湖北省武汉市洪山区优美的野芷湖畔。美术馆总建筑面积为11000m ，共分有四层（地下一层，地上一层、地上夹层至地上二层），8个国际标准展厅，展线长度约938M，展线高度平均3M以上。是武汉最具国际化高标准的美术展览馆之一。

美术馆建筑外立面地上部分全部为纯白微晶石饰面，融合建筑外立面四片大区域水景，纯白色单体与水景中倒景交相辉应，诠释创意天地美术馆纯净、儒雅、高贵气质。美术馆室内空间延续建筑整体白色为主基调。室内与建筑设计浑然一体，整体室内极其简练与当代。美术馆中庭设有独立开放中庭空间展示区，为各种类型不同艺术家创造力和挑战性提供更为多元的展示与表达形式。

 

The United Art Museum is situated by the beautiful Yezhi Lake in Hongshan District of Wuhan. The total area of the Museum is 11000 m², divided into 4 levels (one basement, two floors above ground with a mezzanine in between), 8 standard exhibition halls. The lengths and widths of these halls are approximately 938 m, and the floor to ceiling height of each is on average over 3m. The United Art Museum is one of the best galleries and exhibition venues in Wuhan.

Parts of the ground outside the building are decorated with pure white microlite; combined with the 4 large bodies of aquatic sceneries surrounding the walls, the starkness of the colours complements the watery reflections to denote the elegance, modesty and purity of the Museum. The simple and pale colour scheme is extended to the interior to unify the entire structure, the overall effect is modern and clean. The courtyard can be used as an open air display space, providing challenging and diverse modes of expression to artists of varying styles.
